The Satellite Educators Association, Inc. (SEA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization, incorporated in Pennsylvania in 1989, and headquartered in California since 2002. All donations are tax deductible.

What needs your support?

The primary activities of the Association include. . .

The annual SmallSat Education Conference is now supported by the Satellite Educators Association after producing the highly successful annual Satellites & Education Conference for three and a half decades. The SmallSat Education Conference brings together teachers, students, vendors, and more who are interested in learning about, designing, building, operating small-format satellites in K-16 educational environment.
SEA Lesson Plan Library, housing forty K-12 lesson modules, all aligned with national standards and available at no cost. Includes extensive Teaching Notes and editable Student Activity pages. All lesson modules are reviewed and updated every 1-2 years.
Using Satellites in Education sharing resources and tools, lesson plans, tutorials and videos for guiding teachers and students to find, obtain, visualize, analyze, interpret and apply satellite-based remote sensing data. All available online at no cost.
SEA Newsletter, published quarterly, free and online. Optional subscription to mailing list receives emailed announcements of each SEA Newsletter issue plus infrequent notices of interest to SEA members.

The activities of the Satellite Educators Association are supported entirely by membership dues; grants; voluntary contributions of time and talent from industry, government, and education communities; and donations from caring and concerned people like you.

The Satellite Educators Association has no employees; all officers and advisory board members serve on a voluntary basis. Every dollar you donate goes into the general fund to support the above listed activities.
